I hope you all are doing good. I am back with my another outfit post. As you know the length of the season is the midi length. Pencil skirts in any length are my all time favorite as these give you a very polished look. If you are petite or plus size then you can go for a long high waisted pencil skirt as it creates the illusion of height and slim figure.
The other day I wore this high waisted pencil skirt with polka dots button down. I am so much in love with midi skirts and dresses as its very comfortable and easy to pull off this chick trend. You know what, I am very much in love with polka dots since my childhood. It gives me those fascinating sixties vibes. It’s my secret wish if I could go back in the sixties and flaunt those boxy silhouettes, psychedelic prints, dramatic eyes as well as witness rising of mod fashion and hippie culture. I wonder how people might have felt like in those days. Anyhow I can only fascinate about it and lets come back to the topic, I wore this fuchsia pink polka dots shirt with a black self-patterned high waisted pencil skirt for Sunday brunch. I accessorized with just a few rings and finished the look with black heels and a chain tassels clutch bag.
Shirt is designed by me, Skirt is from Dorothy Perkins, Bag BCBG Generation and heels Carlton London. Please take a look at pictures below.
If you are a sixties girl at heart you can take inspiration from this outfit which is chic and contemporary at the same time. Pictures clicked by hubby, again from a phone camera :p.
